APRIL O'NEIL is the Turtles' #1 human ally and their main connection to the world above the sewers. She often helps them on their missions, holding her own against formidable enemies.

The Turtleverse features a host of villains, from alien warlords and goofy henchmen to Shredder, the ultimate archenemy and leader of the evil Foot Clan. The half-shell heroes protect New York City against these formidable foes from all over the universe.

The Turtles call New York City home, and the city's streets, alleys, rooftops, and sewers play an important role in their lives.
